The 35 year old stands accused of taking financial advantage of his victim, aged 91.
Between January 2016 and May 2018, the Racing forward convinced an elderly woman to make a number of payments to his personal account, as well as giving him her credit card details.
In total, De Mota is thought to have taken more than €190,000 from the woman.
