Reckinger notably participated in the founding of the Union of Luxembourg Enterprises (UEL) in 2000 while in this role.
Father of the current president of the Chamber of Trades, Michel Reckinger, Paul Reckinger had represented his profession on national and international levels since 1966.
The company announced his passing at the age of 83 on Tuesday 26 May.
