The driver in question fled the scene of the accident despite causing material damage. Police were able to identify the culprit soon after and subjected the man to an alcohol test, which came back positive. Officers thus revoked the man’s driving license and issued a fine.

Shortly after midnight, authorities in the capital stopped a reckless driver in Route de Thionville. As the man’s alcohol test came back positive, officers awarded a driving ban.

A number of vehicles were involved in a collision on the A3 motorway at 8.45 a.m. on Monday. Four people suffered minor injuries in the process. Emergency service teams from Echternach, Rodange, Roeser, and Luxembourg City were sent to the scene.

A collision between two cars occurred on the A13 motorway between Kayl and Schifflange shortly after. One person was injured and treated by first responders from Luxembourg City, Kayl, and Esch-sur-Alzette.

Shortly after 10.00 a.m., a lorry and a car collided in the Irgäertchen roundabout. One person was injured in the process. Luxembourg City emergency service teams were deployed to the scene of the accident.
