Shortly after 6pm, two cars collided on the A13 between Schifflange and Lallange. Emergency services from Dudelange, Esch, and Schifflange attended the scene. No injuries were reported in that accident.
At around 9.30pm, another crash occurred on the N1 between Grevenmacher and Potaschberg, where a car left the road and ended up in a ditch. Three people were injured. Rescue teams from Mertert and Grevenmacher were deployed.
In the early hours of Sunday, at around 2am, Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) crews from Rambrouch and Grosbous were called to Rue de Bastogne in Grosbous, where a car had crashed into a lamppost. One person was injured.
The CGDIS also reported several fires over the course of the evening, though no one was harmed. Firefighters from Leudelange and Mondercange were called to Rue du Lavoir in Leudelange at 5.45pm after a heating system caught fire.
Two chimney fires were also reported: one on Schoulwee in Kehlen at around 6.45pm, and another on Rue du Cimetière in Bivels at around 8.40pm. Fire crews from Mamer and Kehlen attended the first incident, while teams from Vianden and the Nordstad responded to the second.
