Diesel will rise by 7.6 cents per litre from Saturday, after the price had already increased by 21.1 cents on Thursday. A litre of diesel will now cost €1.772 from Saturday.
The price of 95-octane petrol will increase by 4.5 cents to €1.56 per litre. Heating oil (10ppm) will also become slightly more expensive from Saturday, rising by 7.9 cents to €1.22 per litre.
The second rise in two days comes amid escalating tensions in the Gulf following US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
