The explosion caused a fire at the house on Rue de Luxembourg. Tuntange, Useldange, Redange/Attert and Mamer fire services were on the scene, supported by Steinfort ambulance and the police. No one was injured in the incident.
Another fire took place in Reckange near Mersch, where fire fighters were quickly able to deal with the incident.
Teams from Mersch, Bissen and Lintgen were called out to assist.
