There had been reports of internal conflicts at the centre over planned reorganisation. The radio station writes: “A large part of the staff, including all the heads of service, criticise the way the director Paul Lesch manages the digitisation and consolidation of the archives.”

Internal discussions on reorganisation of the centre were launched in March.

The committee will consist of four representatives from the Ministry of Culture, one from the Civil Service and one from the finance ministry.
