Seven associations representing national agricultural interests and the national agricultural chamber are meeting government officials at Senningen Castle on Monday to discuss the vision and challenges of climate change.

Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Minister of Agriculture Romain Schneider are hosting the meeting alongside the ministers in charge of the national climate plan portfolio, Minister for Energy Claude Turmes and Minister for the Environment Carole Dieschbourg.

The government officials will meet with agricultural sector representatives to discuss their challenges and ideas when it comes to curbing the effects of climate change, specifically in relation to the sector.

After talks, the organisers will host a press conference on Monday afternoon.
