The municipality of Helperknapp has launched a period of vigilance in consuming drinking water, as the water reserves have reached their limits following the dry climate, the high temperatures, and the strong sunshine over the past weeks.

The municipal council has appealed to residents to limit their tap water usage as much as possible and especially avoid wasting water. The council recommends especially limiting activities including watering gardens and plants, cleaning cars, and filling up swimming pools.
