On the A6 motorway, an intoxicated driver collided with the crash barrier in the Mamer/Cappellen exit after attempting to reverse. By the time police arrived, other drivers had already stopped and made sure that the man would not continue driving. The latter was peacefully asleep when officers came to check on him.
The subsequent alcohol test came back positive and the man's license was revoked. As he was a repeat offender, officers also confiscated the vehicle and pressed charges.
