The homeowner realised that burglars had accessed the house on Rue Belle-Vue in Bereldange at around 4 pm. As the man confronted them, they ran off towards the supermarket. He followed the two but was unable to stop them and instead alerted the police.
Despite the police searching for the burglars, the suspects were not found. The police reported further break-ins on Rue Ernest Beres, where both a house and an apartment were targeted. Another burglary occurred on Op de Wolleken in Niederanven.
A van overturned on the A6 towards Luxembourg City on Wednesday morning, injuring one person in the process.
