On Tuesday afternoon, a bus driver was first threatened and then attacked by a person on Boulevard Franklin Roosevelt.

The police were called, and a patrol quickly arrived at the scene. The officers managed to apprehend the culprit.

The bus driver had to be taken to hospital, while the suspect was brought to the police station to give their account of what had happened. There’s no information as of yet as to why the individual attacked the driver.

The police also report that they had to withdraw several driving licences on Tuesday.

At around 3pm, a driver between Bissen and Roost caused an accident due to their reckless driving. Before crashing into another vehicle, the driver also hit several concrete blocks on a construction site. The driver of the other vehicle was injured in the accident.

At around 10.50pm, the police received reports about a crashed vehicle in Wolwelange. When the officers arrived on site, they quickly discovered that the driver was inebriated.

Finally, a driver crashed into a wall and a traffic sign on the A13 motorway near the Biff roundabout. The driver was not injured, but a subsequent alcohol test came back positive.
