Shortly after 5pm, a car struck an individual riding a scooter in Echternach. Nobody was injured in the incident. When police arrived at the scene, they found that the driver of the car had been drinking. His license was suspended.
Another driver caught the attention of a police patrol when he was speeding on rue de Luxembourg in Kopstal shortly before 10pm. At first, he did not pull over and simply continued speeding away from the officers. Police managed to stop him shortly later on rue Schmitz. A blood alcohol test came back positive and police suspended the driver's license.
