Of the 249 cases identified last week, 63 were traced back to trips abroad - around a quarter of all cases.

This constitutes a slight increase, which prompted the Ministry of Health to remind people to observe safety measures at all costs, even while on holiday. Residents are also encouraged to get tested if they have potentially had contact with people at risk.
21% of cases (52) were traced back to infections within the family. 5% (12) occurred following gatherings among friends or family members. 23 cases were identified from infection groups within the workplace, shared accommodation, certain activities, and the healthcare sector.
