Covid law amendmentIsolation period to be reduced from 14 to 10 days

RTL Today
The third round of COVID-19 laws is set to receive some last-minute revisions.

On Wednesday, the state council decided that the mandatory quarantine period for people infected with Covid-19 will be reduced to 10 days, as recommended by the World Health Organisation.

An isolation period of 7 days is currently in place for people who have been in contact with a positive case. After 6 days in isolation, concerned people can take a test and return to their normal lives, if the results come back negative.
The vote on these amendments will be next Tuesday in the Chamber of Deputies.
