1,769 companies made requests for partial unemployment for July. This is almost 2,000 fewer than the previous month. All but four of them have been approved, as per a release from the economic committee. Around 17,000 employees are affected by the measure, which is nearly 10,000 fewer than in June.
The economic committee also handled 36 requests by companies for a job maintenance plan or a recovery plan.
