In normal times the Diekirch Cavalcade departs at 2.30pm before crisscrossing through town. But the association of "Donkeys of the town of the Sûre" did not give up hope and put together an alternative event in accordance with sanitary measures.
With a good dose of humour and positive vibes, the committee convened in the streets with their donkeys.
Diekirch residents could dress up and join the party from their balcony. Some gifts were also distributed.
