The municipality said around a third of these had been collected on the first day.
Institutions such as retirement homes, or refugee homes, were able to collect all masks for their residents in one swoop, while 200 vulnerable people received home deliveries of masks thanks to the helpline.
One location will be kept open over the next week at the Cercle Cité for those who have not yet been able to collect their masks.
