
The municipality of Luxembourg City currently manages 700 social flats, which the opposition party wants to increase to 1,400. To that end, new construction projects should be launched as quickly as possible.
The faction further advocates the promotion of alternative and participatory accommodations by leasing temporarily limited real estate to interested developers.
In terms of improving integration for the 160 different nationalities represented in the capital, the Greens propose to hire an ‘Agent of Reception’, to better coordinate citizens’ participation, and to create a participatory budget to implement their projects.
The Greens currently hold five seats on the Luxembourg City municipal council, which makes them an opposition party.
