
New temporary restrictions for third-country nationals will come into force on Friday 17 July, remaining in place until 15 September 2020.
The EU has updated the list of third countries whose residents are not affected by the temporary restrictions. Montenegro and Serbia have been removed from the list.
Third countries whose residents are still authorised to enter the territory are as follows: • Algeria
• Australia
• Canada
• China (subject to reciprocity at EU level)
• Georgia
• Japan
• Morocco
• New Zealand
• Rwanda
• South Korea
• Thailand
• Tunisia
• Uruguay
Citizens of the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom and the Schengen countries, as well as their family members, can enter freely into the territory of the European Union.
