The man had lurked behind a couple withdrawing cash in June 2014 and then followed them to a German car park, where he stole the woman's bag. The police arrested the man with his accomplice.
It turns out the criminal is also wanted by the Swiss authorities for crimes committed in Switzerland. The Luxembourgish police delivered the man to the German authorities and he is currently awaiting further processing in the Trier prison.
