Météolux has placed the entirety of Luxembourg's territory under yellow alert due to thunderstorms which are expected on Sunday afternoon/evening.
The weather station announced a risk for thunderstorms which could locally cause very strong winds and significant rainfall. The alert is valid from 4 PM and is expected to be lifted at 3 AM on Monday morning.
However, temperatures are still expected to remain high. In fact, Météolux estimates temperatures between 28 and 30 °C. Heavy rainfall and wind gusts of up to 50 km/h are also expected.
Temperatures are expected to go down to a minimum of 23°C during the evening while the storms will make their way through the country.
