Meteolux has already issued a yellow-label heat warning for Thursday, with temperatures expected to range between 29°C in the Oesling region and 34°C in the Moselle region.
Thunderstorms are most likely to occur before the end of the day.
Friday will be a mixed day of elevated temperatures around 30°C, and isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in between. Hail and strong wind gusts are also expected.
Saturday will be more or less the same, with the most severe storms estimated to break out in the evening hours.
The same also goes for Sunday, when temperatures are expected to be up to 32°C, interrupted by the occasional rain shower.
