Serge Pommerell, who has been in the job for over 20 years, will be staying on and remain active in areas such as project management and structural development.
Peter Hengel, on the other hand, has a lot of prior experience in the hotel business, having taken over the management of Luxembourg City's hostels in 2014. 1 September will see him step up as director of all Luxembourgish youth hostels.
