
Asselborn also stressed that Luxembourg is dependent on workers who are resident in neighbouring countries. If these people were not allowed to travel to Luxembourg, the country’s healthcare service would collapse, according to Asselborn.
All non-essential travel remains discouraged, but Asselborn asserted that cross-border workers should not be impeded from travelling to work.
