
The checks focused on violations of the drug and immigration laws. Authorities searched 40 people in total, counting several offences.
Two warnings were issued, alongside 5 reports for violations of narcotics laws. Officers seized a small quantity of drugs, three mobile phones and cash.
Another person was reported for unauthorised weapon possession, due to carrying pepper spray. This was also confiscated by officers.
One individual was stopped on suspicion of possessing stolen goods. Multiple individuals were asked to show their documents to the police, including one already known to the authorities.
The team was made up of 13 police officers, 10 border officials with three sniffer dogs, and 7 CFL employees.
