The suspect was taken to Luxembourg City train station, where upon further investigation it transpired he was in the country illegally. Officers also discovered remnants of cocaine and hashish on his person, which were duly confiscated.
He was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and will be brought before an investigating magistrate on Friday.
