Police were called to a house in Rollingergrund on Saturday afternoon following reports that a man was behaving aggressively. At the scene, a woman told officers that the man had entered the house through the garden. Once inside, he threatened her family, including small children.

Officers quickly apprehended the man in the garden. He refused to comply, resisted police measures, and continued to act aggressively before being arrested.

Initial investigations revealed that the man had come to the address intending to see a woman he had known in the past, and that the suspect had recently absconded from a psychiatric clinic near Metz, France.

The public prosecutor was notified; the man faces charges of obsessive harassment and bodily harm. He was handed over to the French gendarmerie and returned to the facility.
