Police received a report shortly after midnight on Saturday about a group of people exhibiting suspicious behaviour in the area of Rue du Fort Dumoulin in Luxembourg City.
Upon arrival, officers identified and checked eight individuals, most of whom were teenagers or young adults. During the search, police seized various items including a knife, marijuana, pepper spray, a balaclava, tape, a screwdriver, a cable, and an electric scooter.
Police also discovered a regular scooter at the scene, which had previously been reported stolen. Investigators are still working to determine whether the group had any connection to the stolen vehicle.
The public prosecutor's office was informed and ordered the confiscation of illegal items as well as a mobile phone. Police have drawn up an official report in connection with the incident.
