Authorities said that the 36-year-old victim was killed by his 30-year-old brother. The prosecutor's office already sent an examining magistrate to the scene on Sunday evening, and the autopsy of the body is set to take place on Monday.
The prosecutor's office further conveyed that an escalated family dispute was the most-likely cause.
The Diekirch prosecution and judicial police have been tasked with the investigation.
