In November of 2018, the defendant tried to bribe two city policemen with a total sum of 30,000 euros, demanding that his name would not be written down into the system.
Prior to the attempted bribery, the man had been stopped for driving under the influence of alcohol. He did not show up for his trial on Tuesday.
