The weather service has forecast an orange alert for thunderstorms and a large amount of rain, which applies to the whole country between 2pm and 6pm. There will likely be sudden large amounts of rain during the course of the afternoon, as Meteolux predicts between 4 and 6 litres of rain per square metre.

Given the drought of the past few weeks, we're sure that the rain will do the dry earth good. The sky is set to be calmer during the evening, but residents should remain aware as there may be more storms on Tuesday night.
