The last week of July is off to a good start, with an abundance of sunshine across the Grand Duchy as temperatures soar.

The morning will start off cool between 15 and 17°C, with potential for scattered rain showers and some cloud. However, temperatures will rise to a high of 28°C during the day, while areas near the Moselle might see the mercury peak at 30°C. Evening temperatures will stay warm, around 23-25°C.

Traffic checks

The police have announced the following checks for Sunday:

One in the morning:

• Route de France in Belvaux.

One in the afternoon:

• Route de Trèves in Findel.

And one in the evening/night:

•  N12 - An der Huuscht in Eschdorf.
