The first working day of the new year is set to be a glorious combination of cloud and rain. For those who enjoy getting wet or seeing grey when they look up, it is truly a perfect start to the year.
A yellow warning also remains in place overnight until 4am Monday for strong winds, with gusts of up to 70 km/h. By the time you’re reading this, the strong winds should have passed. But watch out for debris on the roads if you’re up and out early.
Temperatures are mild, starting at 6°C in the morning and rising to a high of 10°C in the afternoon, before cooling off slightly in the evening.
