Later on, the same motorcyclist and his passenger were reported at the petrol station on the A4 as the motorcyclist exited towards Rue de Mondercange in the wrong direction. Later, the police stopped and checked the motorcyclist in Pontpierre.
The passenger had open beer cans in both hands, and the driver tested positive for alcohol. When the police officers contacted their French counterparts, they discovered the driver did not hold a valid driver's licence.
The passenger acted aggressively towards officers and jumped in front of the police car as the officers were about to drive away. Consequently, the police officers took the man to the police station as he was proving a danger to himself and others. The motorcyclist was fined.
