
Officers noticed the motorbike on Route de Thionville in Luxembourg City at 1am and attempted to stop him to check his identification. However, the motorcyclist refused and attempted to escape, causing several traffic offences in the process.
After speeding the wrong way through a roundabout, the errant driver headed the wrong way down Rue Dernier Sol, where he encountered a police vehicle approaching him. In his attempt to avoid the police, the motorcyclist hit the pavement and fell, suffering serious injuries in the process.
Police carried out first aid on the spot while waiting for an ambulance to treat the motorcyclist, who retained consciousness after the fall.
Officers seized both heroine and cocaine from the man, who was not carrying identification. They also confiscated his phone and cash on orders from the prosecutor's office, as well as the motorbike which did not belong to him.
