
A serious accident occurred on the CR150 on Thursday evening, shortly before 7 pm.
A motorcyclist hit a tree between Burmerange and Elvange and was seriously injured. An ambulance from Remich, a first response team, the fire brigade of Mondorf and the fire brigade of Schengen were on site with the help of the police.
Unfortunately, no more information is known about the current state of health of the motorcyclist who was rushed to hospital.
Four other accidents took place in the evening and night of Thursday. The first took place in the Howald tunnel on the A1 at near 5 pm, involved two cars and left one person slightly injured.
The second accident occurred around shortly before 7 pm on the A3 between Livange and Luxembourg City and also involved two vehicles. One person was injured in the crash.
A biker was injured on the road between Reckange-Mess and Dippach shortly before 11 pm.
The motorcyclist fell from his bike and was taken care of by the Differdange emergency services.
Not longer after, at 11.30 pm, two cars collided between Dommeldange and Waldhaff, but fortunately no one was injured in this bump.
Rescue services also had to intervene in Echternach after a fire was discovered under the roof of a residence on the Rue Hooveleck.
Two other minor fires also required the intervention of the fire brigade in Luxembourg City and Mondorf.
