On Tuesday morning, a major accident took place on the A13 motorway heading towards Schengen, just before the Lankelz junction. According to the Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL), the incident involved five cars and a lorry.
However, police later confirmed that three cars and a lorry were involved.
Police reported that three people were injured in the accident. One of the injured individuals had to be cut from their vehicle, although the extent of their injuries could not yet be definitively confirmed.
The accident caused significant disruptions to morning rush hour traffic, with all lanes temporarily blocked at the site of the collision.
