Shortly after 11 pm on Saturday, an accident involving several cars occurred on the A1 motorway between the Howald tunnel and Schaffner roundabout (Irrgarten). Three cars crashed into one another and one of the vehicles caught fire. The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps reported that one person sustained injuries.
In another incident, a tree caught fire on Rue de Prinzenberg in Niederkorn at 6.20 pm.
Another accident occurred at 5 pm on the A13 between Mondorf-les-Bains and Schengen, leaving one person injured as a car overturned.
