12 accidents were reported by the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps from 9pm on Thursday to 4pm on Friday.

Two people were hurt in a collision between two cars on the CR226 between Contern and Syren at around 8am. Remich and Findel ambulances were in attendance.

Two motorcyclists were hurt in separate crashes on Friday, one between Neuhäusgen and Munsbach at 11am, and another on Rue de Luxembourg in Hassel at 1pm.

At 9pm on Thursday evening, a pedestrian was hit by a car on Circuit de la Foire in Kirchberg. The SAMU emergency team attended the scene.

More collisions occurred on Friday morning on Route de Mondorf in Ellange, and Rue de Mersch in Larochette, with one person injured in each incident.

The CGDIS reported another accident on the CR105 between Hobscheid and Koerich, where a car came off the road and ended up in a ditch shortly after 8am. One person was hurt. Alongside the usual emergency teams, a water rescue crew attended the incident.

Two more people were injured on Friday afternoon, in collisions on the N8 and in Hesperange.

Finally, three other accidents were reported on Thursday night, on the A4 to Esch-sur-Alzette, the CR188 near Scheidgen, and in Helfenterbruck, but fortunately no one was hurt.
