The route will close from 6 September at 8pm until 9 September at 6am. The works will affect traffic from Gasperich on the A1 taking the N7 exit, as the exit from the Hamm interchange towards the Irrgarten roundabout will be closed.
Equally, the N2 between the Irrgarten roundabout and Sandweiler will be closed in both directions.
The roads and bridges authority have released images detailing detours for all affected routes. Traffic from Sandweiler to the Hamm interchange will have to take a detour via the Sandweiler roundabout and through Hesperange to the Gasperich interchange in order to join the A1 (plan 1).
Traffic from the A3 and A6 motorways and Gluck roundabout towards the Hamm interchange and Sandweiler will have to leave the motorway at the Gasperich interchange and follow CR roads to get to the Sandweiler roundabout (plan 2).
Traffic from the A1 and Kirchberg towards Sandweiler will have to continue along the A1 motorway, exit at the Gasperich interchange via Hesperange and follow CR roads to Sandweiler (plan 3).
