90% of Amnesty International Luxembourg's funds are gained trough private donations, the organisation conveys in a recent press statement. A new campaign was therefore launched on Thursday, which will allow to continue collecting donations during the health crisis.
To guarantee the safety of everyone, the new concept envisions teams installing a 2m distance reference before addressing possible donors. They are also wearing masks and will note down all information themselves to avoid any physical contact. Future donors will then be able to sign off via text message.

The collectors will be wearing an Amnesty International uniform and badge, proving their identity and association with the organisation. It is further highlighted that they will never ask for cash money, only bank transactions.
The organisation aims at raising awareness of women's rights and their overall activism for human rights in Luxembourg and across the world.
