Although a site has been cleared to accommodate a new service station, the area remains deserted to this day. LSAP MPs Yves Cruchten and Mars Di Bartolomeo addressed a parliamentary question to the ministers concerned over the projected timeframe for the new construction.

The Ministers of Mobility, Energy and Finance, François Bausch, Claude Turmes and Pierre Gramegna, issued a response which explained that the various authorisations have been requested in order to begin construction, but had not yet been issued. Once no further recourse is possible against the authorisations, they will be issued.

However, the Ministers could not give an exact date as to when the new service station will become operational.
