VAT, opening hours, medical centres...Nine new petitions available for signatures on the Chamber website

The Chamber of Deputies published nine new petitions on their site on Tuesday morning.

Covering a selection of topics, the petitions must pass the threshold of 4,500 signatures before they can be debated in parliament.

The latest public petitions highlight a number of issues, including photovoltaic systems, a return to pre-Covid opening hours, and the status of a housewife/husband in terms of state renumeration.

The list in full: 

  • Valuation of the status of housewife / husband on the basis of state remuneration and  work certification ( 1666 )

  • Ban on "gravel gardens" ( 1667 )

  • Promotion of small plug-in photovoltaic (solar) systems by crediting the energy injected into the grid ( 1668 )

  • A return to opening hours before the COVID-19 crisis ( 1672 )

  • Addition of a wall-mounted folding bench in all toilets for disabled people, with sufficient space for the specific needs of people who need to change a nappy( 1673 )

  • Repeal or even review of the law concerning premature invalidity pensions ( 1674 )

  • Permanently maintaining the new organisation of medical centres ( 1676 )

  •  Reduction of VAT from 17% to 15% for economic reasons caused by the pandemic, until 01/01/2024 ( 1677 )

  • Bypass Mersch at 90 km / h on the A7
