Dropped projectNo military helicopters for Luxembourg

A plan to purchase and use three transport helicopters in close cooperation with our Belgian neighbours has been abandoned, as the Belgian Army has decided to make less use of helicopters.

As a consequence, the Luxembourg government has dropped the project, which would have cost half a billion euro. This emerges from a reply by the Minister of Defence François Bausch to a parliamentary request by ADR deputy Fernand Kartheiser.
