The contract between the municipality and the private security company G4S expired on 15 November. After a year of patrols by private security guards, and a few weeks after the controversial incident during which a man was bit by one of the company’s dogs, security in Quartier de la Gare is now ensured by police presence alone.

Polfer explained that she mainly proposed the information meeting with the residents because of the discussions on the legal aspects of these interventions by the private company G4S.

This meeting will take place on Wednesday 1 December, in the presence of Minister of Internal Security Henri Kox, as confirmed by Lydie Polfer on Tuesday to our colleagues from RTL.lu
