In a press release published on Thursday, the Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) explained that the aim of the agreements is to maintain jobs in any way possible, including short-time work, continuing education, early retirement schemes, and employment guarantees.
The Economic Committee still needs to approve both plans, which would be in force until the end of the year.
