On Wednesday afternoon, police were alerted to the presence of a man in Luxembourg with a European warrant out for his arrest. While he was not located at the first possible address, officers later found him at his official place of residence in Koerich. He was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and brought before a judge on Thursday.

In Belair, a mugging took place on Wednesday night. Reports suggest the perpetrator approached a passerby on Rue Emile Verhaeren and grabbed the victim's wrist to steal their watch. The victim fought back and was able to prevent the theft. While the mugger fled towards the cemetery, he was later apprehended by police, who found a number of valuable items concealed about the man's person, such as a mobile phone, a necklace and cash. The items were confiscated and he was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office.
