One person was injured after a car hit the guardrail on the A13 at the Bettembourg interchange at around 8.20pm on Monday.
Emergency crews from Bettembourg and Dudelange attended the accident, which happened in the direction of Pétange.
Later, rubbish caught fire on Rue de Strasbourg in the Gare district, prompting firefighters from Luxembourg City to respond at around 9.30pm.
No one was injured in the fire.
