First responders were called to the RN05 between Dippach and Gréiwelsbarrière on Wednesday morning at 10.36 AM.
Two cars were involved in the accident, and the head-on collision was so severe that both vehicles were hurled into two different trees.
In total three people sustained injuries, one of them was stuck in their car and is now in a life-threatening condition.
First responders from Mamer, Bertrange, Dippache and Luxembourg city came to help, and air rescue was dispatched to the scene.
